Pros: Informative, Fun to Read Cons: None
"I'm still holding on to the premire copy of the magazine...and have looked forward to receiving each new issue. It's an informative read - most helpful when planning a trip - and it's a great 'dream' book....dreaming of the next holiday.I enjoy reading all of the special sections. Unlike another travel magazine, BT is realistic...and it's recommended vacations are affordable..and real. Thanks."

"I can honestly say this is the only magazine I eagerly look forward to receiving. Definitely geared for someone bitten by the travel bug. Budget Travel offers beautiful pictures and articles on U.S. & international travel that are informative, interesting & insightful, but not so long-winded as to test your attention span. Through some of their stories I've discovered some great places that previously weren't on the radar; know the 100 best ranked, affordably priced hotels the world has to offer; learned of a great place to stop for lunch while in the Dominican Republic; was taught what to look for if shopping for a booze cruise; became schooled in cultural differences; and the list goes & on. One of my favorite sections is where the magazine offers practical, useful tips submitted from their readers based on their actual travel experiences -- for instance, the international symbol for street level is the star or asterisk, or put toothpaste on a bee sting if you have nothing else on hand.
All I can say is this is one of the few monthly publications I save for future reference, and each copy is completely dog-eared for reading & rereading. Thoroughly enjoyable from cover to jacketback!!"

"This is the magazine I look forward to getting every month! It has practical tips and travel plans that you can actually act on, rather than dream about. If you don't want to wait until retirement to have all the fun, then get this magazine and start traveling now."
