Pros: Some interesting articles
Cons: I expected more information regarding different areas of the home

"To be honest I just expected more. I found that the magazine was full of a lot of Ads and it didn't focus on different areas of the home."

"Although there are quite a few ads in the magazine, I feel that it's an excellent value. Without the ads, I understand that the magazine would cost much more than most people could afford. I get great ideas for interior and exterior decorating every single month. Thanks for such a great publication!"

Pros: good home decorating articles
Cons: Only about 15 % of the magaines is articles

"I was so annoyed today when I got my first edition of my Better Homes and Garden magazine and discovered that every other page.. and even many times more than every other page was advertisements.
I don't really enjoy paying to flip through these pages.
This magazine would be 20 pages if they got rid of the advertisements.
P.S. I am not a usual complainer."

Pros: Variety from Decorating to Gardening
Cons: MORE THAN 1/2 the magazine is ADS- January 2008

"Have had a subscription for over 25 years and just renewed for 2 years but after (my just received today) Jaunary 2008 issue I am beginning to wonder why. Total pages 152 - 87 pages were ADS. That means that MORE THAN 1/2 of my favorite magazine is garbage.
Come on guys give me back the fantastic magazine I loved. I may choose to cancel in the near future if they continue to choose ads over content."

"Although this magazine was my favorite for years, I finally canceled my subscription. Far too many ads. Over 50% was ads. Definitely took the joy out of the magazine."

Sunset Living, May 15, 2007
By Bo

"I have viewed this magazine over the past several issues and have found interesting tid bits that have offered inspiration within my home. I like the contrasting elements of chic, playful,, and refined. Everytime I pick up the magazine there is always something different and new that I did not notice before. I find it a relaxing, enjoyable, and educational experience and recomend this publication to anyone."

Coffee Table Pick, May 5, 2007
By Mother's Cup of Tea from Highpoint, TEXAS

"The Better Homes & Gardens was Mother's Issues.
Close to real time as I turned pages as a young reader. Cutting out favorites [remember scrap books]; assignments made quicker with built up memories to draw on.
Mother's Day comming soon she had a collection that was so extensive that later in years we did see she had written SAVE on the cover and slipped it on the book shelf."
