Pros: Well illustrated, well-written, pocket-sized
Cons: Can't think of any

"Bird Watcher's Digest was the first popular bird magazine, and is now 30 years old. It is especially well-written; it's not designed to be a "pretty picture" magazine. But it has nice photos and original illustrations to help birders sort out ID challenges. It's written in a friendly style by people who are dedicated to the pastime."

Pros: Perfect Size

"This magazine has a little bit for all levels of bird watchers, from beginner to intermediate to advanced. It's about good birding information, rather than merely being about "pretty pictures." It's not a field guide to birds, but rather about sharing great bird watching experiences and vital information that can add to you enjoyment of birds."

I was very disappointed with this magazine!, July 5, 2007
By Torie9

"For one, it's a digest not an actual magazine! There are hardly any pictures of birds! The pictures & articles just don't compare to other bird magazines that are available!"
