Pros: Many interesting things to try out, has great advice some I've put into motion
Cons: wish they would offer more issues though.:(

"My mother-inlaw loves to read this magazine and I bought her this for christmas one year and she loves it. But I'm the one that should read it I though I have lots of flowers and great birds that me and my family love to watch. So I have been reading every issue cover to cover with lots of great ideas that doesn't cost much to try out. Even has many ideas for recycling everyday stuff to improve your gardens and help the birds. thats what I love."

"This is one of my all time favorite magazines. I love to garden and from that I've learned to appreciate wildlife. This magazine covers both gardening and birds and butterflies. Kids will love the wonderful photos as well as adults. Birds and Blooms Extra is published on alternate months, so you can get your fix every month of the year. I have saved every issue it's so great!"

"this magazine has been on my most wanted and enjoyed list for years. I don't remember exactly how I got started on it but it NEVER FAILS me. I believe I have most every issue because I can always go back and find info. It also amazes me that if I have a question about a bird or flower etc. up it pops in the very next issue!!"

Pros: gives helpful hints
Cons: needs to be larger

"thanks to your magazine, when my mother wanted to be able to watch birds from her nursing home window,I was able to set up and know which birds they were. As you know, the cowbirds are lazy and it just so happened a house sparrow was elected to rear at least one. The oddest thing however wasn't the cowbird so much as this particular little guy was even feeding a young cardinal and about five other sparrows. All any of them had to do was flutter and HE was feeding them. If I had had a camera I would have gotten some of the most unusal pictures ever. Once again for your magazine,THANK YOU!!!"

"I have been receiving this magazine for years now and I am always eagerly awaiting the next copy. I save them and read them over and over again. Every once in a while I will donate them, but I hate to part with them. I have previously sent a gift subscription to my mentallhy handicapped grandson and he really enjoys the pictures, especially those of the butterflies. Thanks for such a wonderful magazine at such an agreeable price."

Pros: Very enjoyable and informative
Cons: on-line contest entry not available

"Your magazine is very enjoyable and I look forward to receiving both issues (" Birds and Blooms" and "Birds and Blooms Extra" ) every month. My only complaint is that every time I try to enter the contest for "BUZZ" and" VIOLET" on-line the "Contest" section never comes up making it impossable for me to enter. This is also true for the "acorn" contest. Hopefully this can be fixed.
In the March issue which I received March 29 th, "Buzz" is on page 24 and "Violet" is on page 13."

"I love this magazine. I have been a subscriber for several years. I get both Birds and Blooms and Birds and Blooms Extra so I can get an issue every month. (Both are published every other month - on opposite months.) The pictures are awesome and there are a lot of them. The articles have great information for those of us who like birds and blooms (flowers). :)"

Pros: No ads, beautiful photography, informative articles, great layout, and great birdhouse plans
Cons: none whatsoever

"I've enjoyed this magazine for at least 15 years now. I cannot think of any other that I enjoy more than Birds & Blooms. I love gardening to attract birds and butterflies, as well as feed and watch the birds. This magazine gives me everything I need to enhance the experience. As other reviewers noted, it makes the perfect gift and also is wonderful to leave old issues at the nursing homes and Hospice for others to love. Not only is Birds & Blooms a fabulous magazine, but the company also publishes other great, ad-free mags - Taste of Home and Quick Cooking for those who like to cook, Country Woman and many more. All are just as nice as Birds & Blooms. My favorite part of all - NO advertisements!"

magazine for bird lovers, September 4, 2007
By Ang from NW Ohio

"My mom subscribed to this book and I loved to read it when I went to visit her. I became a new subscriber just this year(July 2007) and enjoy learning about different birds and flowers to plant to attract birds and butterflies. We just bought a house in June 2007 and wanted this magazine so I can decide on flowers to plant when I do my landscaping. I love the pictures and I also love that there is NO ADDVERTISING articles. All about birds, butterflies and flowers. I like to try to find the hidden acorn but I don't have much luck. It is hidden very well. I recommend this magazine to bird lovers."

Beautiful Magazine, July 14, 2007
By Jo from Rutherfordton, NC

"When I saw this beautiful magazine in my dentist's office, I was hooked, and had to subscribe. This is the only magazine I read immediately when it arrives, and every issue is as beautiful as the last. The information, tips and the letters from other readers are bonuses, since just the pictures would be worth the subscription price."
