Pros: Gives us great ideas for our home, gardens, and places to travel.
Cons: None

"My husband and I both enjoy Coastal Living! Since we live in South Florida, spend summer vacations on an island in Georgian Bay, Ontario, and just bought our retirement home on the water in Coastal Georgia, shores, coasts and water are a focus for us. It's fun and interesting to read about places both familiar and unfamiliar."

Pros: Nice pictures
Cons: Read below

"Several years ago I started subscribing to Coastal Living because I love the ocean/beach and wanted a magazine that featured articles and pictures involving the same. I enjoyed very much reading Coastal Living every month. Then I started noticing about a year or so ago that all the articles were written from a female perspective, almost all the ads involved females and mostly female type products. For the most part, the recipes feature women tasting salads or sandwiches. Not at all that this makes any difference concerning reading about the ocean and houses, but as a male, I felt so out of place. Actually, Coastal Living now feels just like a sister magazine to Woman's Day. I did not renew. If you think my opinion is an exaggeration, read an issue for yourself. Thank you."

Pros: Pretty pictures, some nice ideas, gives appropriate websites
Cons: More for the wealthy and the elite.

"I have taken Coastal Living on and off for years. Mostly I use it for websites to go to, not for any big ideas. If you are not wealthy, ignore this magazine."

Marvelous magazine!, June 9, 2007
By Niqi from Louisiana

"After visiting the West Coast for 6 weeks, I wanted to take so much of the beauty home with me to Louisiana. With Coastal Living magazine I feel as though I am back in our cottage enjoying all that the coast of California and Oregon had to offer.

I grew up near and enjoy spending time at Cypremort Point which is featured in this month's magazine. I think this magazine is marvelous!"
