I would recomend it to girls ages 9-15 because it is about real stuff, not celebrity stuff and it isn't like bop or m because it is real stuff. m and bop and tiger beat talkabout celebs and say to kids that the need to be like everyone else . things like ' 100 lbs. is too big ! ' or ' all about how to look stylish ' or quizes titled ' r u fat?', R U a dork?', ' can REALLY discourage girls . "This magazine is a great choice for girls ages 9-13, although it is geered twoards 10-12 year olds. Talking about different issues young girls face, is appropriate. No talk about kissing, intamate relationships, ect. This magazine is a great choice! I read it until i was 14, i enjoied it so much! It makes a great birthday or Christmas gift too! Now that I am a mother myself, I know that my daughter will be reading this magazine BEFORE GL, Cosmo Girl, and Seventeen. It's just so much more appropriate for pre-teens."
