Pros: magazine has many good articles that are informing. Cons: you advertise sweep stakes and after several attemps to find page to fill out there is none to fill out.

"This magazine is a good magazine for hunters and fishers. There is about 60% (usually) of fishing things. I found some good lures that I bought from Field and Stream."

"Field & Stream blows any competitive sportsman's publication out of the water! My great-uncle began subscribing in 1939, I now hope to continue until 2039. Highly informative articles that concentrate in certain areas, amazing photography and tasteful humour are combined to make you # 1. Waterfowling is my passion and even though there isn't too much information to publish anymore, you still have at least one article Oct. thru Jan. Not all of us deer hunt! Commenting on "The 50 Best Lures", the only one missing for trout is the Blue Fox Minnow Spin which is difficult to surpass. Thank you Field & Stream, don't ever change (like Sports Afield diverting to knitting, gardening and under water basket weaving). Vallejo,Ca."

Field & Stream,
September 11, 2006
By Carlfrom Phoenix AZ
"My favorite Field & Stream articles are the ones about danger. I enjoy reading about how hunters survive tough times like being attacked by animals, rushing water, etc."
