Pros: A beautiful magazie not just when compared with other woodworking magazines ut with all magazines
Cons: Older issues had a wider scope of interest. Current issues are more strictly about hobby woodworking

"Woodworkers might have different views about many things in their craft but all seem to agree that Fine Woodworking is a the top for woodworking magazines. They started at the top in the 70s and they have stayed there. They have made changes, in format and in scope but they still lead the pack in the quality of their content, text and images (excellence in both illustration and photography) and a good sense of how to portray teaching a woodworking skill in a magazine."
