"This is a great neutral magazine. Unlike say the wallstreet journal (very right) or the NY Times (Left) Time Magazine has a perfect balance."

Pros: Authoritative, well written, thought provoking Cons: Short, a little liberal biased
"Time is an excellent magazine, well written thoughtful and not too sensationalist in a world that seems obsessed with the sensational, it is way too short and takes me no time at all to read cover to cover but that is also to do with the fact I love it and when I get my hands on it I will read it until I am finished. Although for the most part it is balanced I do feel that the magazine is a little liberal biased and could do with a little more counterpoint, which is maybe a concern as I am a liberal myself!"

"Have been receiving Time since the mid-eighties. It was, in my opinion, then, an excellent magazine. Too liberal for me. The final touch was your selection of Vladimir Putin as your "Person of the year." My subscription will simply expire."

"Time isn't really "very conservative" nor is it really "very liberal". It is mostly balanced. My rating pushes it back slightly towards where it should be - in the middle. Supposed liberal bias is not true."

Pros: Can get it cheap sometimes Cons: too liberal, content short, little or NO news
"I subscribed to TIME for over 20 years and loved it. However, around 2002 or so the magazine began to get more and more liberal, which is find if it's a commentary. But it's supposed to be a newsmagazine. Then, they shortened the size (about a third smaller), and they have no news recaps or analysis. Yes, we have the internet and cable TV but I loved still getting some news recaps and photos. Especially after Katrina, the S.F. earthquake, the start of the Gulf War. I loved and saved the "special" issues like those. But now it's all trends, Hollywood, and going "green". Needless to say I dropped TIME."

Gets it Right,
August 27, 2007
By Carla in LA
"I have been a reader of Time for over two years and look forward to my issue each and every week. I feel it challenges me to hear all sides of complex issues. It informs me on the most important political, entertainment, health and leading news articles without wasting my time. I'll be renewing my subscription."

Spiritual schizophrenia,
August 27, 2007
By Don
"One has but to pick up this week's issue of TIME magazine to see the spiritual schizophrenia of our culture in print. The only redeeming factor I can perceive is the fact that the lady with clothes on (Blessed Mother Teresa) is on the front page and the other one is on the back page. They could have been inverted. Things always could be worse, no matter how far they may have descended. Take hope!"

The incredible shrinking magazine,
August 4, 2007
By disgusted former subscriber
"Your magazine has become a disgraceful con job. It's appalling how your magazine has shrunk to a size that one can read in twenty minutes. I will no longer subscribe to a magazine that is now no bigger than a pamphlet."

As Good As It Gets,
July 20, 2007
By Chaz
"No magazine is completely objective, because the perception of objectivity is in itself subjective. Time comes closer than almost any other media. Liberal? Hardly. Time simply reflects the reality in our nation at this time: the Bush Administration has made a vast mess and squandered huge amounts of money and opportunity. I don't mind opinions - just don't state them as fact."

Extremely biased --not informative,
July 1, 2007
By Dave
"The most recent issue features "Commentary" by Jeffrey Rosen. He writes about how the Supreme Court has shifted away from what he knows is good for America. Believe it or not---Jeffrey says the most important issue facing the United States today is: The Supreme Court is not in favor of partial-birth abortion. Of all the issues facing the people of America, Time Magazine chooses Jeffrey Rosen to decide which is the most important. As a subcriber to Time I must disagree with the choice of this "commentary". Thank You."

A Little to the Left,

By TJfrom Orlando, FL
"This magazine is very liberal. Beware, if you are a right wing republican you will not enjoy this magazine. I have noticed it's bias since the beginning. I used to enjoy this magazine for it's interesting news article. But the magazine is playing with politics and I will soon be canceling it."
