Pros: so many super healthy and delicious recipes, many vegan recipes too, great articles, delicious looking pictures Cons: not long enough!
"I'm an 18 year old vegan and I love this magazine. I would recommend this magazined to all vegans, vegetarians, semi-vegetarians, and anyone who wants to eat healthier or learn more about the vegetarian lifestyle."

Pros: Love the articles and ads Cons: more veggie recipes, less tofu
"I look forward to receivng my magazine. The articles are so informative & I love the ads. I have found so many natural & great products in this magazine. I wish I would see more vegetable recipes using eggplant, squash, or cauliflower. I'd love to send in my recipe for eggplant stuffed shells or my oven fried cauliflower. The butternut squash is also a great veggie this time of the year. Thanks for letting me sound off!!!"

Pros: Excellent healthy living and well-being articles, with some good recipes Cons: Not as focused on vegetables and legumes as I thought it would be
"I am not a vegetarian, but I subscribe to the magazine looking for great vegetable and bean dishes. My one frustration with the magazine is that many of the recipes are traditional meat dishes that simply replace the meat with various meat substitutes, such as "soy sausage" or "chicken-style soy meat substitute, such as Veat" or "vegan meatballs." Since I am trying to minimize processed foods in my family's diet, I am not thrilled with efforts to take a soy bean and turn it into a "chicken." I would rather eat a chicken. VT is a great magazine for its target audience, but I am still searching for a resource that focuses just on vegetables and legumes and provides recipes that make them taste amazing."

Pros: Excellent reference for vegetarian foods Cons: Hard to get ingredients to some recipes
"I am not a vegetarian yet but am eating more healthy. I have tried many new items based on references in this magazine. For the first time in my life I made polenta lasagna. It was great. I can modify the recipes as I need. I also signed up for offers from the advertisers and get coupons for products like veggie wash. Bob's red mill is great and I can get it and Hodgson's mill products in the grocery store. The only thing I do not like is complicated or weird ingredients that may be hard to get. I even eat tofu often now and this magazine opened my eyes for how to cook it. Thanks VT."
