"I had a subscription to DJ 10 years ago (finances prevented a continued subscription). It provides very practical and concrete ways to get at what God wants with man, who God is really like, how to understand His Scriptures. It's worth the investment! Not only does it provide for personal growth, but also makes it real easy to host/lead a Bible study (no seminary experience required! :-)."
