Pros: brief, intelligent, balanced, attractive, even fun at times Cons: my husband and I nearly fight over who gets it first when it arrives every week
"We have now cancelled some other news magazine subscriptions because The Week does such a great job of keeping us informed in a format that we can quickly digest, with enough brevity that we have time to read it every week. The editorial sensibility is fantastic, and we can't recommend The Week highly enough. We've given subscriptions to many as gifts."

Pros: first rate Cons: hard to find at newstands
"This is a joy to read both the USA and the UK version in the USA it is even harder to find at newstands so ordering online is best, in the UK it is sold but always hard to find in newstands."

"Picked this up a few years ago trying to keep frequent flyer miles from expiring. Have been subscribing ever since. This is a great magazine. I don't watch much TV, so The Week keeps me up to date on what is going on in the world, not just the US. I value the different opinions it gives."

Pros: Short and sweet Cons: None!
"I randomly picked up an old copy of The Week in my mailroom 2 years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. It's such a small price to pay for a wealth of information.
I'm a college senior, so I don't really have time to watch the news, or read the newspaper daily. The Week is a great way to pick up on national, as well as international news on a weekly basis.
The stories are short and sweet--perfect for short attention spanned college students, and busy professionals on the go. I definitely recommend this magazine to everyone."

Pros: Substantive and timely information on a wide breadth of subjects. Cons: For what The Week is, no cons.
"I enjoy reading The Week it helps put events in focus from a wide variety of sources and views. Moreover, the magazine's format makes for easy reading when you only have time to review, yet has articles that are in depth as well. In short The Week is a good cursory overview of events with no spin a good primer for conversation and understanding."

"I received The Week several years ago as a gift and cannot live without it. I have given it to my children and one said that he can contribute to any conversation after reading The Week. I especially love the international slant , the summation of editorials from all over the world, and the book reviews and highlighted authors, I have cancelled Newsweek and read this cover to cover in no time."

Pros: Get the whole story without a bias Cons: haven't found any
"I don't have time to watch TV, I don't have time to read the newspaper from start to finish. In this magazine I get just "enough" of all the current news, sports, fashion, book reviews, movie reviews. What more could a busy author want? .... besides a review in your magazine!"

The Week,
July 23, 2006
By Elliotfrom Murfreesboro TN
"The Week is a must-read magazine! This magazine is a quick read and a great way to keep on top of what is going on in the world today. The Week also is one of the most balanced publications I have ever seen; it gives both sides of the story and lets you make your own descisions. This magazine is worth every penny!"

The Week,
June 20, 2006
By Kevinfrom Patterson CA
"The Week magazines provides the news from different perspectives across the world and presents it in a clear, concise way. I love this magazine because it is informative and not opinionated as it presents both views and allows the reader to make an informed decision. The Week also has interesting articles from other countries and how they view what we in the U.S. are doing abroad."
