Pros: Gives a great sense of place, a real feel for Kauai
Cons: No police blotter daily news

"Kauai Magazine somehow figured out how to make you feel the trade winds through the palm trees and the mist of the waterfalls when you open up this magazine. It's all about the natural beauty of the island of Kauai, which is about as close to heaven as you can get on this planet, as far as I'm concerned. They have no facts and figures in Kauai Magazine, just glorious photos and write-ups about places to go and things to do on the island to experience the natural beauty. They publish a Kauai Data Book with all the facts and figures, so I got the whole picture of the place between these two publications. Kauai Magazine gives the right brain sense of the island and the Kauai Data Book gives the left brain part of the island."
