Pros: Great hints
Cons: starts endless offers for other mags that kills tons of trees

"This is a great newsletter with tons of little detail info as well as longer researched articles by experts. The only problem is that it generates ENDLESS amounts of other junk mail, mostly offers for other newsletters they publish. There is no way to stop it and I got tired of finding my mailbox stuffed with phony newsletter looking offers to sign up for more. If there was any way to just get Bottom Line Personal and stop the rest, I would recommend it to everyone!! But the extra junk mail isn't worth it."

Pros: Concise, timely, authoritative

"I have been a subscriber to Bottom Line Personals for over 20 years. If I only had one subscription, I think this would be it.
I really like the concise, direct-and-to-the-point style that this newsletter has. It covers a broad range of topics from health, to investments, to living you life to the fullest. Every issue has articles that I start off saying "Yeah - I've been wondering about this.” It's a great publication."

Quick snips of timely tips, August 30, 2007
By Auntie Kath from Sunnyvale, CA

"I subscribed to this newsletter for years, and unintentionally let it lapse. I'm resubscribing because nothing else comes close to covering so many subjects (health, investing, tax advice, home maintenance, shopping, +, +, +) so succinctly OR with such timely, late-breaking news.

It's like having your own personal editor reviewing all the latest trade journals and papers as soon as they're published, and distilling the data into short, clear summaries.

And it's objective; advice is culled from experts and trusted professionals in their respective fields. Results of clinical trials that suggest health benefits or warnings contain references to the actual published results, without dramatic staging. And their data often precedes the same news hitting the mainstream media by a month or two--or more.

I read each weekly edition, cover-to-cover, in about 1/2 hour, but many years considering, discussing, practicing, and passing on to others what I've read. It's been my best source of real-world-smarts."
